Add Conditional Coloring to your Reports

Apply colors to data that meet criteria, highlighting, emphasizing, or differentiating information in reports

By setting an unlimited number of rules using AKTEK iO’s Smart Filter, you can determine the conditions upon which to color your report’s data.

Go to Admin > Data > Conditional Coloring

1. Once on the conditional coloring tab, you must select the report you wish to apply conditional coloring on in the list displayed on the left side;

2. Click on the + icon in the top left corner to add a rule that will determine the condition and color of the data available in your report;

3. First, select the condition. You can select between:

   • Everything: to color all your data;

   • Everything Else: if you have created rules previously to color specific data, you can select this option to color everything else not covered by prior rules;

   • Choose Condition: to set rules that will determine what data to color using the smart filter. When you select this option, a pop-up will open, and you will be able to create rules or a group of rules that will determine what data subsets to color. Once your rule is ready, click on Apply.

   

4. After selecting your condition, you can choose the color you wish to add to this condition;

5. Repeat the previous steps to add more rules to your report;

6. Once you are satisfied with your rules, click Save and check your report.
